Hi thanks for watching. Never heard of blokada but will check it out. If you implement adguard at the router level like shown in my adguard video it should happily block ads on your streaming devices too. If you also use a VPN like wireguard to tunnel back home it can be used on all your devices no matter where you are. I'm going to do another video on it soon. Some ads are injected and are hard to block. RUclips is about to inject adds into the video stream which will make it very hard for ads to be blocked on RUclips. I have Verizon.. The tether option is available after I insert the USB in the phone. But still nothing. Please let me know if you have any luck

It works perfectly for my s24 ultra. I'm on EE a UK ISP. Both usb and repeater modes. Have you contacted Verizon and discussed it (tethering) with them? It's possible something on their end. ISP's can block it.

Pi hole is good too. I found it easier to apply DNS rewrites with adguard at the time. Regarding not using adguard because it's russian, you do realise they relocated their headquarters to Cyprus in 2014. Also the project is open source and has over 85 contributors from many countries. I get what your saying but I hardly think you can label Adguard as Russian. The code being open source is also examinable by anyone and it has over 23 thousand stars on GitHub. Hi I don't personally use ckoudflare but you could spinup a VPN like tailscale or wireguard and in combination with a reverse proxy achieve this. Might need adguard DNS rewrites. Okay check if DNS stub listener is running with systemctl status systemd-resolved If it is run sudo systemctl disable systemd-resolved.service sudo systemctl stop systemd-resolved.service Then as per the video change adguard ports back to 53 and run. Any issues you can always uninstall adguard and run sudo systemctl enable systemd-resolved.service sudo systemctl start systemd-resolved.service

I´ve just copy pasted the first command and now there stands: Unit systemd-resolved.service could not be found. What does that mean?

That would suggest its not installed. Does adguard work after install then? Have you tried to use it as shown in the video straight after you install it? This fix video is for people who's Adguard is not functioning due to the dns stub listener being turned on. If you don't have system md resolv installed it should work?

@@KLTechVideos The solution really is sensational, it's a shame that it didn't work so well for what I needed! I have some clients who use Guacamole or TSPlus and with both using Zoraxy the screen had a larger dalay than when running with nginx and haproxy! Despite being by far the best interface I've ever seen for a reverse proxy and with LOTS of features, for the environments I need it, it's not that good. However, I will continue to follow the project and who knows, perhaps this will improve in new versions.

Hi I just realised that I have already demonstrated internal only domains in my Adguard advanced tips video. ruclips.net/video/0uHu6sWwQH4/видео.html&t you can also use access control lists found in many reverse proxies. When using Adguard DNS rewrites as shown in the video above you just ensure that your domain is not pointing at your system or that your reverse proxy is only allows local network connections. In the DNS rewrite section you would then put your nextcloud url and the ip of the reverse proxy, proxying that connection.

Hey! I have also used certify the web. That said Zoraxy has a built in acme tool that you can use with many providers. Have you tried it? See 09:15 in the video. ruclips.net/video/49xQYLpmedE/видео.html That's the only way I acquire SSL and it auto renews as well. I do it via DNS challenge so I don't need to open port 80.

@@KLTechVideos Good morning. Yes, That is actually what prompted my question since it is no longer supported or available on Windows for download. How to link the two different programs up is the next thing for me to try and see if it is possible. I will have to re-try again when I am at home as when I selected the ACME tool, it just showed it a grey screen. Update: So yeah, it was the computer I was on that would not show anything in the side menu when selecting ACME at the bottom. That just brings up another question: No lock icon. It shows an open lock when finished (using docker desktop, followed your tutorial for dockge but used port 5032, using Dynu, the TLS/SSL portion worked fine). Any suggestions for this or if it will take a while for it to clear and go green? I am also checking the Zoraxy reddit in the meantime.

Are you trying to link certify the web into Zoraxy? I'm not sure how that would work. If your having issues with the Zoraxy acme tool as shown in the video I would do the basics first and clear all cookies and cache. then reload the Zoraxy page and try again. I'm not entirely sure what you mean by open lock? are you talking about when viewing your proxied urls in the http proxy section? Have you changed the port setting on the main page of Zoraxy to 443 and enabled both Use TLS and enforce TLS 1.2 and above also on the main page part way down?

Do you get internet access on your phone while connected to the hotel WiFi? If yes then after copying the Mac address do you forget the network on your phone as you can't have both connecting to the hotel WiFi? Sometimes you also have to set the ip address of the router to the same one your phone acquired when it first connected. I screenshot the WiFi connection settings on my phone before forgetting that connection on my phone. Also are you running a VPN on your router and does turning that off allow an internet connection? If so the hotel could be blocking that vpn. Let me know how you get on. 🖖

Are we talking the admin page? If so change the URL to be HTTPS as shown in the video. If we are talking about the actual live Nextcloud page where you login what reverse proxy are you using and have you applied the advanced configuration to it? github.com/nextcloud/all-in-one/blob/main/reverse-proxy.md

I've since narrowed it down to port 443 being closed (Eventhough I passed the domain bit in the neextcloud setup just fine, and I swear I checked it yesterday and it said it was open). So I'll need to check with my ISP during the week to see if they block it.

Did you port forward in your router? Also have you allowed port 443 through your OS firewall? If yes to both its possible ISP block what is your ISP? There's always a way around it.

Yes to both. I'll check another PC later to see if there's some other conflict I'm not aware of (port is blocked even if docker is not running). I did notice that if I connect with a vpn the port is listed as open, but I still can't reach my domain.

DNS resolvers are their to resolve hostname and ip's. They are not their to redirect to block pages as cool as this is. That said pre https era this was a simple thing to do but since https with higher security standards redirecting from a https url which the majority of the web is today is not allowed and is built to that effect. If we could still redirect https pages today as easy as this then anyone anywhere could use it for malicious acts. HSTS a security technology also ended this ability as it forces the page to only resolve to the correct location. I am no expert in this field and tried to dumb this down even for myself. But after extensive research into the custom block ip setting in Adguard and even setting up my own web server on a raspberry pi and using the ip on that to redirect my blocked pages to it only ever worked for http and for all https quires that over 90% of the web uses it just showed a connection refused error. So sorry to say this is basically a useless setting. If anyone does manage to get this working with HTTPS i would be very surprised and certainly would not trust their intentions.

There are no pins between the SIM and SD card slot. The the SIM card slot has pins for the SIM card to make contact. There is a reset hole and then the micro SD card slot itself. Other than that there are no pins between the SIM card slot and micro SD card slot. 👍

Your correct. The subnets I have are for my machines and networks but they would be different for others just like the directories. Please change these to what suits yourself.

What router are you using? Have you set the router to point to your server running Adguard? Is the server turned on 24/7? If the server/computer that runs Adguard is turned off or is not accepting connections to it on port 53 your devices won't reach it for dns and adblocking.

@@KLTechVideos For some reason RUclips just hates keeping my my comments lol. My router is the AT&T BGW320-505. I was able to get the Nginx Proxy Manager to issue certs now so excited for that. The server is turned on 24/7. I know watching other vids which include the same or newer (black) router and even the AT&T forums people are talking about having to use the passthrough to get it to work.

try using command prompt instead of powershell. Thanks for watching. Please checkout the sections in the video showing how to map your directories. You need to specify in the compose file and inside the arrs apps where you want your files saved. You do not need filebot to do this. Can you clarify what naming conventions are off? Everything should be fine if you follow the video to the letter changing only directories you have setup.

Is that needed in conjunction with something like Traefik (or what would you suggest?). And how many Indexers should we have? I did nothing but pick 11, they all have query and grab limit set to 1 and now I am being timed out for too many requests (never requested anything). Have you ran into this issue before?

Instead of /Media the common folder is /Data and the subsequent folders are in the same volume structure as recommended by the website. /Data/downloads /Data/movies /Data/tvshows A quote from the Sonarr website (sonarr.tv/#downloads-docker) ""The best solution is to use a single, common volume inside the containers, such as /data. Your Series would be in /data/tv, torrents in /data/downloads/torrents and/or usenet downloads in /data/downloads/usenet"" So the compose I have created shows this as stated on their website. Highly likely the connection your using is blocking VPN access. Try connecting to the same VPN on your phone first while connected to the third-party internet connection. Also ensure you have successfully logged into the third party WiFi before attempting to connect with your travel router. Then connect with Mac cloning as described in my video and after verifying all is working then turn on the Vpn. Also double check the VPN configured on the router is setup correctly. Test it at home too.
